A developer recently asked me if you could split a single code-behind screen inside of Visual Studio in order to see code at the bottom of the screen and code at the top of the screen at the same time. Of course you can!
In both Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2010 to split the code window simply click in the box that's just above the scroll bars and drag down. This is much harder to recognize in Visual Studio 2008 because the box is a small gray box with no arrows, but it works the same way.
