Microsoft Office 2010

Well, I've played around with the beta of Microsoft Office 2010, but the release just hit the MSDN kit about a week ago and I immediately switched to using it. So far it's absolutely fantastic. Here are the reasons why:
- It's FINALLY 64bit. I had to uninstall all of my 32bit office applications to install 64bit but it was well worth it. Things are SO much faster. Be careful though, some third-party addons are not 64bit compatible. Luckily I don't use any that aren't.
- Microsoft OneNote 2010 - one of my all-time favorite programs - has some great improvements. Sub pages are easier to work with and the application finally has the "ribbon" like other office programs. Sometimes it's the small things.
- Probably the most compelling reason to get office 2010 right away are the additions to outlook. Again the program now has the "ribbon" interface, but even better is the way outlook now tracks conversations and shows you all the last emails in said conversation and lets you easily find all attachments in the conversation. I was constantly sifting through back emails looking for attachments I again needed. I'll never have trouble finding those again!
